Homepage Safari iPad Air

Can anyone please tell me how to set a homepage on my wife's iPad Air's Safari?

I found this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mvee2Ct8BTg and one or two others on Youtube. Trouble is Safari doesn't have that little arrow icon to the left of the address bar on this iPad Air, which they all mention.

One way is to set the Safari home page on your Mac and then sync your iPad Air to the Mac. Make sure though that you have System Preferences, iCloud, Safari selected. (Place a check in the box that says Safari.) That will automatically sync your home page and bookmarks.
