For the moment I just try to remember not to touch any reminders on either of the devices I upgraded. I only do that on my iPhone Xr and iPad Pro, neither of which has been upgraded yet.

Incidentally my old iPad has the beta and my old iPhone the live version. Oddly, both report they have same version, even though the profile is still active. Has the live version now caught up with the beta?

Caught up an passed it I think. I stopped the beta registration profile at 13.1 on iPhone and iPad.

Well it messed up my Fantastical2 calendar. I use the Apple Calendar for work since we have a shared calendar for events. I use Fantastical2 for my personal calendar. On my iPhone Fantastical2 works as it is supposed to. On my Watch it combines the events from both the Fantastical2 and Apple Calendars together. I have the Fantastical2 complication only on my watch face.

I emailed Flexbits who developed Fantastical2 and they told me they are aware of the issue. It is an iOS problem but they are working on it. Jordan, the gentleman who replied, said he had the same problem on his watch. At least there is motivation to fix it.... I hope.

What is most annoying is being notified for EVERYTHING! At work they list everyone's meetings, birthdays - including kids and grandkids, etc. So I have to look when my watch vibrates to see if the notice is for me.

Oh, and don't get me started on the changes to reminders and app updates... but others have addressed these aggravations.

Lisa

Me too Lisa, fortunately I'm retired so what I get are just duplications but one reminder would be enough.

And while were all having a rant, which brainiac decided it would be a good idea to swap the direction of the Rotate button in the Edit function of Photos. Just when I got used to planning for anti clockwise they've gone and changed it to clockwise. Seems like a change for the sake of change.

Arrrrgh! This thread killed it! This morning all my reminders on my iPhone were wiped out, replaced with a message that the app is no longer compatible and won't work until I upgrade to Catalina. But I can't upgrade to Cat when it comes out because I have a printer that I have to have work and whose developer doesn't know when a 64-bit driver would be available. So I'm stuck.

And I'm blaming all of you for this...just wanted you to know. :)

Yeah, Sue started a thread about this the other day.

Yup, that's what happened to me. You allowed the Messages iOS upgrade, at least you can still access them on your iOS devices.

My two bits bet says that there is a pool of Apple developers with an ongoing bet as to how many users they could **** off and annoy and who would be the first to call in and complain or even notice.

So why not be the first to call in??? :Smirk:

Then at least the group of developers can high-five each other to confirm that they were at least able to get one user, and one of them will probably win the pool bet.

EDIT:
Yeah, Sue started a thread about this the other day.
Gee, I missed that.

Maybe Sue should call and complain as well, but that would probably just amuse the developers some more.

We've been told that Reminders will be fixed when Catalina is released. The problem now is that with iOS 13 Reminders no longer sync. My question to Apple is what about those folks who do not upgrade to Catalina?
My wife's iMac is an old (2012) one and she still has High Sierra. It is less vulnerable than iPhones which, as you say, should always be updated if possible.
