Hi
I am currently using Entourage with my hosted Exchange 2007 account, but I am not totally happy with. So I am trying to switch to Mail.
The fact is that Mail (ver. 4.2, OSX 10.6.2) does not autoconfigure my account as it should (Exchange 2007 server has it enabled with all updates) and when I attempt to enter all data manually, it does not search for server address, stating that it can't find it.
Support from this company configured my account in 2 Macs with no problems. Therefore I created a new standard user account for my Mac, logged out from admin and logged in as the new user.
Opened Mail and entered email address and password...Voilá, autoconfiguration worked flawlessly.
Back to my admin account, I tried fixing permissions, extending Mail permissions, etc. etc. Nothing.
Any suggestions?
