I just did a system update, installed a new X11, and reinstalled gimp. I've let gimp and X11 both open and close. I was told to open org.x.X11.plist under prefereneces, then click on new root, then new child and name it wm_ffm ... I can't seem to do this as it just opens a text edit box. Do I need the X11 tools? If so any advice on which one? Here's the link below UNIX GUI Toolkits on Mac OS X
