I recently purchased a macbook 2.4 2gb. After downloading gimp, for some reason there is a delay between the mouse movement and the action of the movement. As in, if i'm using a brush, the paint trails behind my movement by .5 seconds or so. I'm using istat, and the ram situation seems to be fine, usually using around 1gb or so, with many more page ins than page outs. When I open gimp, X11 opens with it, but I didn't manually install it. Any advice? Thanks! Neil
