Hi all... this is my first post here but certainly not my last..hehe.

I need some help.

This is what I'm trying to accomplish.

I have this one file lets call it File1. I want Automator to get File1 and Copy it to a folder and to each one of its subfolders as well. (Also, since every subfolder has a folder called SubA I would prefer if I could copy File1 to just SubA in every subfolder.)

Sounds simple but all I can get it to do is to copy File1 to the folder but there is no option to copy to the subfolders as well.

Help. Please.

I think you just have to add multiple "copy finder items" to your workflow..

But then you'll have to manually set it all up.

It's probably easier to get it to do this with an applescript if you know how to write it... (I don't ) :)

I dont want to manually set it up because I will be putting new subfolders in this folder frequently. I think applescript is also the way to go. Do people in this forum know how to write them? Is there a special place to request applescripts?

Thanks.
