Help!!Quicktime!!

Hey! i have a huge problem i wanted to install some components in quicktime,i dowloaded them ,then i puto open with quicktime and they didnt work i dint know u had to put the components in the quicktime file so now te default program is quicktime so the component dont wirk so how do i change it back ? ?
