I have transferred my library form a PC and I have re-formatted my ipod to Mac and sync'd the two. However, on itunes, everything on the ipod is in pale grey and I am unable to do anything in ipod view (ie when I am in "Devices" mode). That means I can't delete, alter or change the column view of stuff in my ipod when connected)

Can anyone help please?

Connect the Ipod, when it appears on itunes, click on it in the devices list, go to the 'summary' tab of the ipod and check 'manually manage music and videos'.

You've currently got it set for Itunes to manage it.
