Help !!! MS Office '04 ( Excel ) Install w/ MS Office '08 already installed

Hi-
Newbie to this forum. Anyhow need some help on how to install Office 2004 or at least Excel 2004. I have a MacBook Pro running 10.6.2 and it had Microsoft Office 2008 pre-installed. I need Excel 2004 because I have some critical docs with VBA macros. I have a Microsoft Office 2004 install disk but keep getting the error below. I have tried everything I can think of and have scoured the web for an answer. Almost every post deals with upgrading from MO 04 to MO 08. I don't have install disk for MO '08 so looking for some solution.

Just shooting in the dark here, but have you tried uninstalling Excel 2008 then installing the 2004 version?

Or thinking here ........ installing the whole suite of 2004. Which will probably instead of just Excel.
If every post was to upgrade, i suppose it is time to downgrade to 2004 ..

Good shot. That's exactly what he going to have to do, completely remove Office 2008 and install 2004. Anyway, it appears the version of Office 2008 he has on his machine is a trial version since it didn't come with install media.
