Help for Mac

Hello MAC Users

I'm new in this forum. I'm little bit confused where to post this request as there is no sub-forum in this community for "REQUESTS".
Anyways ... coming to the point .. I need information about Mac OS.
I'm a user of Windows OS. I want to use Mac OS. I heard that its AWESOME.

Is it possible? Can I install Mac in my desktop or laptop ?

My Laptop's configuration is:

Proccessor - Intel Core Duo 1.86 GHz
RAM - DDR2 1.49GB
HDD - 120GB
Intel Graphics Card
DVD-RW

No, you are not able to do that. Apple's EULA doesn't permit it and it's tied to Apple hardware. I'd recommend picking up a nice Macbook or used Mac if money is an issue.

BTW, this probably belongs in the switchers forum so I'll move it there.

You could always go to an apple store and mess around with their laptops to get a better feel if you don't want to buy one right away...

On a side note, for many issues you won't need to request anything. The fastest way to get information is to use the search as almost anything you can think of asking has been answered here already.
