Does anyone know how to delete a jpeg file that is no longer available? E.G When i click on the file it says, "The alias...cannot be opened because the original item can't be found". I've tried fixing alias/deleting alias but it won't let me

Does anyone have a solution to delete this file for good?

Hi there,

Have you tried dragging the file to the trash, restarting your Mac and then emptying the trash?

I think you'll need to repair permissions with Disk Utility (if Rottie's suggestion doesn't work).
