Has anyone else had this happen to them. I got a text message and the message never displayed on my lock screen, I have my settings set to display it, and it only happened this one time, my fiance was upset with me as I didn't see her message till later when I unlocked my phone

Do you have your iPhone setup to sound an alarm noise when you get a text? I don't have to see my screen to know that I have received a text. Also, you didn't tell us which iPhone and version of iOS you're using? And yes, sometimes I get a text that does not show up on my screen but I still get the alarm noise.

Iphone 4s latest ios, the text didn't show up on my lock screen like usual. it was just in my inbox when I unlocked my phone
