I have a powerbook. I want to put in a new, larger hard drive. A friend told me that I should buy a toshiba or a hitachi because mac supports only these brands. Is that true that mac only supports those brands or is that nonsense? If it is true, is it okay to buy a more generic brand as long as it meets the specs? Thanks.
