GTA Vice City

Hey all,

I tried putting GTA Vice City on my macbook with boot camp but for some reason its not loading?? It installs fine and creates the proper folders and when I click on the "Play GTA" icon it shows a CD icon as if its loading but nothing happens??

On youtube I've seen people play GTA San Andreas on the macbook through bootcamp so it must be possible. Its a brand new game so im really confused..

What should i do??

The graphics card in a macbook is not very powerful and therefore the macbook is not ideal for playing such big games.

The people playing it on youtube could have been using a Macbook Pro

Vice City is quite old now so it should work ok. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?

Up to date graphics drivers as well?

So I actually got it to work by uninstalling my NBA Live 07 game. I guess it needed more room.

But the wierd thing is that I tried to play it again today and for some reason its not loading again. It has sufficient space, so whats the problem now..

Sound issues in Vice City

I have had no problems installing GTA Vice City and after some tweeking with assigning buttons for the hand control it looked like it was running fine.. But... The sound is really off sometimes, especially during the movie sequences where you get your missions, sort of distorted.. And the same thing when I jump into a vehicle.. Anyone know what these issues depend on?
