How much would you get rid of that 17" monitor for? Also, is it a LCD or a CRT, if it's a LCD we maybe can get something going here. I have a DVD-R/W in a firewire case for trade.

It's an lcd. However I am looking to trade with systems to upgrade what I have. Was considering taking all to a used mac shop and trading in all to upgrade. What is your dvd/rw?

It is a Toshiba SD-R5002 DVD-R/W drive, it works in my G4 sawtooth and my pc. I got a faster drive, so I don't need it any more. I also have some 15 and 20 gig drive I can throw in to sweeten the deal. Only problem is, does the LCD have a power supply, or does it get its power from the AGP bus. If it gets powered from the AGP bus, I can't use it because I have a 450, and they didn't have that agp power thing. Unless you know of an adaptor to power it from an external source.

You still have that G4? I'm looking for a G4, and you have one. I am willing to trade a practically unused Compaq EVO n610c notebook (1.8Ghz P4, 512) for that G4 and LCD display.

If you're at all interested, email [email protected] and I'll be happy to talk to you!
