Getting to know Panther much better.

There is still a lot of features that I am not taking advantage of with the Panther operating system.

For example: Is there a way to go directly to my user directory from start - instead of opening Macintosh HD, Users, My Name, and then Documents?

So provide any hints that you use with Panther.

i cant think of any hints but i can answer your question you have as an example.

when you are in the finder or on the desktop when the finder is active go to

Finder--> Preferences --> General

This is a dropdown menu for New Finder windows open. You can select anyfolder you want there to have it automatically go there
