I have no idea how this happened again but I thought I could go to tools-extensions and remove it from there, but its not there. Any suggestions?

You need to provide considerably more detail. What do you mean by "remove" the website? Are you seeing popups? Has it become your home page? What browser are you using?

I have no idea how this happened again...

When you say "I have no idea how this happened again." Since this is your first post on Mac-Forums…I don't think that we heard about this happening to you before. So for us…this case (for you) is the first time we are hearing about it.

So can you explain what you mean by "happened again". What happened the first time around…how did you solve it that time...and how did it happen again?

How to remove Genio. And please be careful in the future what you allow to be installed on your Mac.
