Can Mac document files be installed on a Windows 8.1 laptop?
How would I do it?
Thank you.

What kind of Mac document files? Generally, MS Office files created on a Mac are compatible with the MS Office version for Windows. And plain text files likewise are compatible with Windows. There may be others that I can't think of right now.

As already stated, no problem depending on the file type(s) - which apps are you using on the Apple Mini & your Windows laptop? You simply need a compatible format between the two computers and the programs being used.

Now I'm not sure if you are also asking 'how' to do the transfer? If so, some options are over a network, wireless options, transfer media, such as a USB drive, etc. Dave :)

Text documents are universal and should be no problem to open and read in Windows 8.1. Just use a USB Flash drive formatted to FAT-32 to do the transferring from your Mac to the PC.
