Gesture to switch between running applications

Hi there,



I want to ask if there is a way to change between running applications by using the gesture? I think 3 finger swipe will be the perfect solution. Instead, it only changes between desktops not the application. To change the application, you have to do a 3-finger swipe up to Expose then choose your application. It is not as natural as left-right swipe. Is there a way to change 3-finger left-right swipe to change between running applications? Perhaps using a 3rd party tools such as xGesture?

Why not put each app onto a separate Desktop?

I use some apps in full screen mode, which uses a separate desktop for those apps. But you don't have to use the apps in full screen mode to use different Desktops.
