No, it shouldn't, but you need to be aware that there is a new version of Garageband that's quite different. You'll be offered to download it, however, it will not overwrite your old version and will move it to a separate folder. Your projects will remain untouched. Backup your projects and anything else you need to before upgrading as a precaution.
