G5 Sorrow , Please Advise

hi all I'm new to this forum, but i have been driven to ask some questions about Apple as a company really.

It all started when i brought my new duel G5 PowerMac back in Jan 05 , it was running fine until the SuperDrive started to fail. and not record DVD , i took it back to the shop where I had brought it from in Nottingham UK, and they replaced the Superdrive in 4 days, after a week of testing it the Drive failed again and again 2 out of 17 burns worked.
so i had to go back to KRCS the shop that i had brought it from. But i had to move house that week, in fact move countrys to Holland. as I am now in Amsterdam. So KRCS got the G5 back to "fix" before i went, and went they had finished they wouldn't ship it to me, so it had to be picked up by a family member , and we had to ship it at a cost over to me in amsterdam.

that took 4 weeks,

When i received the G5 shipped to my self , i test it quickly to see if the drive was working , and it was. The next day the SuperDrive stooped work all together, after i put in an application CD , in fact all power to the drive was lost.

I made KRCS very aware of the 2nd foul up, as i was very mad, as they promise me It had been fixed, but thats what they said the 1st time. as i know for a fact that they didn't fully test the 1st replaced superdrive.

Now KRCS tell me to ship my G5 back so they can "fix it" again.
I do not want to spend over £150 to have it shipped back again waiting another week for it to be shipped and another 4 weeks to "fix" again. No thanks,
so They tell me that i should contact a Mac shop (Mac House) in Amsterdam, and say that they will pay any costs it will be to have it fixed with them if it falls out side the warrant . As PowerMac only have UK warrantee not International like Powerbooks etc..
I do so , I take my G5 into this store and they have a look at it,
but they can't do anything until they have a Work Number (?) for the machine form apple. so i have to wait for them to contact MAC house, this take another 2 weeks, !
then I'm told that they can work on the G5 under the warrantee and have ordered the SuperDrive part from apple (located in amsterdam) this takes another 2 weeks, then they fit it. This doesn't work either. then they send it away to another one of the Shops to get fixed, they tell me that it might need a new logic board . so that is ordered and replaced, then another superdrive is ordered and take a month (well still done know how long this will take) . I spoke to the team who where fixing this and he said after asking " can you fix it " replay being " no we can't fix it".
this whole process has taken over 115 days !!
over that time I have lost 3 months working time, and several freelance job .
which as you could imagine, hasn't made me happy at all.
I have contacted Apple Customer relations in the UK , not that their easy to track down and am still waiting after 2 weeks to hear back from , about this whole situation. But what they have said is that after 3 times of an apple product has been fixed and still not working , then they would replace or refund for the product.
IMHO this has been " fixed" 4 times so surly I should be able to get my money back. Right?
also can anyone suggest on how I can get some sort of compensation from Apple , like a faster machine maybe or extra warrantee / apple care, as i feel i have totally lost any trust in Apple and any one who works with them. these series of events might make me think like this for a very long time, if some sort of compensation isn't given to me,
Yesterday i walked in to the Mac House shop in Amsterdam and asked for my G5 back fixed or not. as i would just go out and by an external DVD drive , which i wish i had done in the 1st place as it would of saved me from all these days of stupidly waiting around, unable to continue with my work which I couldn't back up before it was sent away to be fixed as the DVD drive was broken.

if my questions are not directed to the right place, please could you drirect me to the right to where you think i might get help.

thanks jim

i wouldnt really like to say what you can do really. I take it that the shop in nottingham is a fully qualified mac reatiler etc etc?

if so then im pretty sure that you can claim under their own policy of it being repared 4 times, if not then i dont think that you can do much else tbh.

id say just cut you loses and buy a new internal pioneer 109 drive and hope that it cures all your problems
