If you paid your light bill and you have verified power to the unit try force power on or try booting from a norton disc.

What is force power on?!? Pressing the powerbutton until your thumb's going through the plastic??
And how would he boot with a Norton disc, if the machine doesn't boot at all?

Quite senseless...

If the G4 doesn't give any sign of starting up (assuming you are connected to a working powerline, of course ) it's either your PMU that needs to be reset (disconnect from power and press the PMU button located on the mainboard ONCE!) or the powersupply might be faulty...
