Hola! I just installed a ftp server on my mac mini. And I have connected to my windows pc through smb:// and I have a shared folder in finder. I'm trying to set this shared folder as a home dir on my ftp server. But the problem is that when I connect to my server the home dir is empty and the files and folders wont show up. I'm pretty sure this has to do with it being a shared folder, since when I use other folders as home dir, both files and folders show up. So I'm wondering if it's possible to use a shared folder as a home dir? If not, how is it possible for me to share content from my windows pc through the mac mini ftp server? EDIT: Basicly what I'm wondering: Is it possible for me to setup an ftp-server on my Mac Mini that uses a folder on my Windows-pc as home directory? Like when someone connects to my Mac ftp they are served the files thats in the windows-folder.
