    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

Hi,
I need to import a DVD, edit same, and export same back to a DVD without loosing quality. I dont know which software to use for the whole operation.

First I'm using Handbrake or Mactheripper to create the .VOB files etc on the computer.
But then what.

I find it that if I convert the .Vob files to a AVI or MPEG, I loose too much quality but there is no way of importing the ripped files directly into iMovie, is there ?

What if I dont want to edit, I also can't seem to get iDVD to import the dvd files that i ripped.

The reason that I need to import same is that I need to change the format on the DVD from PAL to NTSC.

pleeeease help
