Well, I wish I could say the same, as it looks like I have been hit with this PITA auto log-in not working without clicking a bunch of boxes and telling Google Chrome to remember me, and the same with Safari which doesn't work for me properly anyway, and Firefox. And it all started the other day when Mac forums insisted I change my password but was apparently over a hundred and twenty days old. I have now wasted too many hours trying to get this blankety-blank problems sorted out, and yes I have tried all the suggestions here but just wondering if any other members might have a suggestion I could try. I can stay logged in as long as I don't quit any browser. It used to work very well thank you very much in all three browsers until I had to make the password change, and now it's all goofed up in all three browsers so there's something in the Mac Forum settings that's completely FUBAR. One fedup user here trying to get something to work that should be so basic. I prefer using Mavericks and Google Chrome for my browser. And as I said, I had complete automatic login working just fine thank you with all three browsers, not even a click in any username box or anything was required, and the way it should be working now. Anyone got any constructive suggestions??? My next fix attempt will be to put my old password back in if it will let me as I have waited over a day since I was told to change it. Maybe God knows why people insist on changing passwords as it makes no sense to the mathematical hackers logic. EDIT: NOTE, I have no such login problems at any other forums site, the problem exists only at mac-forums.com, and only since the compulsury paswword change I was told I had to do. Just like it screwed up the previous time I had to make the change but I can't recall how I got that fixed. Is there any way to prevent the compulsory 120 day password change or make it much longer, like maybe 1,000,000 days would suit me. - Patrick ======
