I have just had a copy of Starcraft bought on e-bay sent to me ths morning. It looks quite old and my powerbook is brand new. I try to install it, but no! I doesn't want to! I have OS 9 installed on my OS X operating system but every time I try to install it is comes back with an error saying "I must run the installer form the Starcraft CD" So I check here to see if anyone has had this problem and they have. So I d/l the patch that they were pointed to and I cant get that to work either! Whats going on? Its saying I need to locate the Starcraft file on my HD. But there isnt one becasue I cant install it! Can anyone point me in the right dirrection onto how to get this patch to work?

You might be SOL. Since you can't boot your PB into OS 9, the game may not install. Not all apps run well or at all when in the classic mode of OSX.
