Flash Player install problems - shared library

Hello,

I have tried to load the new flash player on a mac w/ a newly installed 10.4 OS.

When I try to load it I get this error message:

"Application Launch Failure The application 'Install Flash Player 8 OSX' could
not be launched because of a shared library error: '7<BaseInstaller><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_QD><DMRemoveDisplay>

I then tried to run the flash uninstaller and got the exact same error message.

Any ideas?

If you haven't already, trash everything associated with the flash player and d/l it again. If there are still problems try digging down in your library and see if the errors are there. Repairing permission never hurts Let us know if anything works.
