Flash Player help

Macbook Pro 2.53 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 4GB RAM 250GB Hard drive, 8GB iPod Touch
I was having trouble with Flash Player not working and it would quit Safari. I tried uninstalling Flash Player and re-installing it. But after installing it, Safari says I don't have Flash Player. Any help? Thanks

Re-download the installer and try it again. You might want to also try repairing permissions using Disk Utility. Can't hurt, might help.

Well Chas, I re-downloaded/installed it and I have flash player back, even though I did that a couple other times lol. But it didn't solve my problem of Safari quitting unexpectedly. Any more insight?
