Flash player hangs up

Hi guys, I have been fighting a bit with using flash player in my new iMAC.

The problem is that I;m trying to watch life football on my iMAC. By a weird reason flash player hangs up after a few seconds. I went back to the broadcasting station and they claimed that my internet speed was too slow... requirements are 2Mbps. However I have done the speedtest recommended by them and my speed is around 15-20Mbps.

I'm pretty sure that this is not an issue with my connection as I have tried to watch the same channel on a wifi connected android tablet and runs fine. We have got 2 MACs at home. 1 macbook air and my iMAC and both have the same problem. So I have these reasons to believe that there is actually an issue with MAC and the flash player. Has anyone else have the same issue? Any ideas why do I have this issue ?

My iMAC has OS X Yosemite version 10.10.1
Processor 3.5 GHz Interl core i5
8GB ram 1600 MHZ DDR3
Graphics AMD Radeon R9 M290 2048 MB

My flash player is version 16.0.0.235

My iMAC is connected to the internet via cable.
There are no parallel downloads at the moment of the issue.
I have tried it using SAFARI and CHROME.. same issue.

Try Quicktime? Perhaps delete and reinstall you current player?

Hi wrenrj1.

I haven't tried quicktime yet... But I did try deleting and reinstalling current player.

I also contacted MAC support and even them have no Idea what is happening.

I also contacted the "flashplayer guys" and they are keen to help. They believe the issue could be with the broadcasting station.

Could it be your router? Just fishing for possible causes...

The router?.. mmm.. dunno.. But don't think so as I have an android tablet using the same router and that one works absolutely fine. I have run my MAC and my android tablet simultaneously with the site Im having issues with and the iMAC has issues and the tablet is fine. So, don't think it is the router ... however Im not an expert..
