My wife and I each have an iPhone.
I have a Mac desktop, she has a Windows desktop.

When she's out, "finding" her iPhone on FindMy on my iMac is simple & easy,

But for her "finding" me when I'm out has us puzzled. It seems that for her to "find" my iPhone, she has to log in as me at FindMy on my iMac, and then "find" me on FindMy.

There has to be a better way for a Windows user. I think it has to do with iCloud.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

That is, I think, the way it works. "Find My" is an Apple system, based on each device communicating through iCloud. SInce the Windows PC doesn't communicate through iCloud, it doesn't have access to "Find My" functions. However, if she uses the iPhone, then "Find My" on her iPhone should work.

Here is Apple's guide on Find My:

EDIT: I suppose she could try to log into icloud.com on the Windows box to log in there to find your location. I've never tried that because I don't have any Windows devices, but apparently you can logn into iClout with other browsers, so maybe even from WIndows.

Why can't she just use her iPhone?

There is an iCloud app available in the Microsoft Store. It is difficult to get it set up

FindMy is a Apple technology for Apple devices. You can use it on all Apple Devices logged into the Apple ID. You can also use it on iCloud.com with your Apple ID to track your devices.

So the only way a Windows machine would work here is if she has an Apple ID set up and then you're sharing your location with her. She can then log into iCloud and see where your devices are.
