A Macbook comes with integrated graphics. Apple's website clearly states that Final Cut Studio does NOT support integrated graphics.

I have run FCS on a macbook, but i would totally not suggest it! You should use a macbook pro with at least 2 GB ram to edit with final cut pro.

Yes you can run fcp on a macbook i have a macbook 2ghz and 2gb of ram and it runs fcp in full hd editing grate i use it for creating work that gose out on the local tv station ran by my college.
You can run every program i have found on a macbook i even run some very complex 3d programs with no problems creative work like this is what macs are for.
