Your Mac's Specs
13" MBP - 2.7 Ghz, Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM.
I'm logging and capturing a video from a Mini DV Camcorder into Final Cut on my MacBook. Everything's going fine until every couple of minutes I get a "Dropped frames were detected during last capture attempt" error and the whole thing stops, which means none of the video up to that point captured.

Is there a way to prevent this error from popping up and stalling the whole thing?
