Message: <blockquote data-quote="angler" data-source="post: 695104" data-attributes="member: 61700">So, I tried to use the File Vault feature so I could set up an additional user (my wife) on my G5 tower with OSX 10.4.11 and not worry about my files disappearing or moving around and when it was finished encrypting, I logged in and my additional 500 gig internal (with ALL my stuff) wasn't showing up in the finder. I turned File Vault off (which took 2 1/2 hrs) and then when I logged back in the drive still wasn't there.
