Favorites page in Safari on MacBook Pro

Just started to do this, every time I open Safari with the favorites page it shows favorites and show less on the top of the page. I have to scroll down to see the icons. If I tap the show less icon, they move up to the top of the page then I hit show more and it is back to normal. However, everytime I open a new tab it does the same thing. Any clue how to fix this?

All I can suggest Is that you go over and make sure everything is set up as Apple expects it to be:

Add websites to your Favorites in Safari on Mac

In Safari on your Mac, add websites to your Favorites.

support.apple.com

How do the same websites appear using a different browser???
