As stated, I love my MacBook although I'm starting to consider chopping my old-ish Windows desktop in for an iMac once Leopards released - it's gonna be at least double the price of updating my Windows machine - but I really do like OS X and those iMacs are kind of 'sexy'.

I voted for the original Macintosh.

A family member bought one about six months after its introduction and it changed the way I looked at computers.

(And I was not paid by Apple for that sound bite.)

My experience is mainly with the MBP, so my choice is easy. I did have early experience with Apples in elementary school. I just remember playing games though. My favorite was a Golf game on an old black and white early Macintosh. And this is from a Nintendo kid! I guess that's what led me to prefer computer games these days.

I can't believe I am the only one who voted for the iBook G3 (Summer 2001 design)...

Also, the MacBook and MBP are worlds apart, why are they bundled together?

Mac Mini 1.83, iBook G3 800, iMac G3 233, Mac Classic, Apple IIc. And too many PC's to count.
I had to choose between the iMac G3 and the iBook G3...and ultimately picked the iBook, because it's my newest toy. :)

But After some more thinking, I should've choosen the iMac G3 :(
