Hi,

I'm having some hardware issues with my 2017 macbook pro. The track pad seems to rapidy click when I lightly click down. The issue is intermittent with it only happeneing every now and then. Has anybody had a similar experience or has a reccomendation on how to resolve?

I have the latest OS installed (11.2.1)

I have video of the issue here for clarity (video will need sound):
Thanks,

Meek.

Is the case bulging up? Put a ruler or straightedge across from side to side in the space between the keys and the trackpad. It should touch all the way across the case. If it rocks, the case is being pushed up by the battery, probably. Battery swelling is not safe and you should look to replacing the battery if it is swelling.
