I've laid out a plan. Im buying a Powermac G4 Digital Audio tomorrow. Its a 533 MHZ G4, 896MB RAM, 40 GB, OSX 10.4.8. It will be powerful enough to get me by until I get $270 or so for a G4 upgrade. At fastmac.com, you can get a G4 1.5GHZ upgrade for like $269.99. This will make it basically as good as a Solo Mac Mini, for under a total of $500 or so for the PM, upgrade, and shipping.
I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with fast mac, or any G4 upgrade at all. Maybe some opinions as to a better place to look.
