Fan could be going out.

I think the fan in my computer's going out (buzzing sounds when it's on.) I'm also having small glitches like the mouse slowing down or skipping after the computer has been on for a while. (Currently the most annoying.) What I don't know is exactly what kind of fan to get. (My computer's a Power Mac 6500.)

Well it may be the powersuppy fan, try blowing that out. Or it is the processor fan, just open the case, measure the the fan, its either going to be 80, 90, 120mm. Just buy one of the size that uses the right connector

If your computer is slowing down, it might be a sign of overheating maybe. So just be carefull not to over-heat it.

That's another thing: I can't exactly figure out how to get the thing open. (I unscrewed everything I saw and it still isn't opening. While I know enough about computers that error messages don't give me panic attacks, I'm not really a computer whiz.)
