Whenever I log out of Facebook and then go back into my account my user name and password have been automatically populated. No matter what I try I can not stop this from occurring. Obviously, this is a major security issue. Any advice, pls?

You have your browser set to remember your account details. The process to remove that will vary, depending on which browser you use.

Now, of course, if only you use this particular machine, it's not a big deal at all.

As pointed out in the previous reply, browsers have options to "auto fill" or remember log in data such as userid and password. I don't use FF but if you've looked through all its preferences and extensions (don't forget those) and still can not find it, you may have to delete the FF plist file. That file should be located in your User Library under Preferences.

Let us know.

For Firefox:
under Preferences click Security tab, uncheck "Remember passwords for sites".
