Hi, I bought a 27in Imac with a 2tb fusion drive in February. I would like to install more ram. It came with 2x4gb 2666mhz modules, so can I add another 2x8gb2666 modules to give me 24gb of ram, or can I only install another 2x4gb to match, or completely replace the existing modules, if this makes sense
thanks in advance

Roy
P.S. A happy New Year to all of you

You do not need to match the current memory, you can add a single stick or 2 new sticks, or replace the existing 2 with 4 new sticks with larger memory to go to the max of 32 or 64GB depending on the vintage of the iMac.
