Hey all,

Been loving my MBP, no complaints!

I'm going to be picking up an external monitor for my dorm room, and am pretty set on the HP W2007 (have a budget of 300, seems like a solid buy).

My question is, what kind (if any) cable to I need to pick up to hook this monitor up to my MBP? I'm confused as to DVI and DVI-D.....

Here is the link to the monitor on Hp's site:

Thanks all,
Matt

That isn't what he needs at all. He has a Macbook Pro which does not have a mini-dvi. It has a regular DVI port.

All you need, Matt, is a regular DVI cable. Both your computer and your monitor have a DVI port. Looking at your link...it says that a DVI cable is already included. If that is true, it looks like you are set.

That's what I though. And yeah, it says that a DVI cable is included, so I should be good.

Thanks for your help!
Matt
