Hello everyone
Since updating my M2 Pro Mac Mini to 15.1 overnight, the display on my external monitor is flickering at a fast rate. Tried unplugging the HDMI cable, tried a different cable, tried USBC but the same result each time - flickering screen.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

thanks, Nick

Restart the mini. Or, shut down the mini for a couple of minutes.

I'm wondering if there are any display changes in this update? I can't tell if it's just me but there seems to be a very subtle difference in the display on my M1 MBP. It could be my imagination but it's the first time, other than known changes inherent in an upgrade that I've thought this. Whatever it is it's a tiny change which I can't quite put my finger on. Like getting a new laptop, everything's the same but...

Do the problems reappear if you log in using the regular method instead of safe mode?

Others may chime in with better ideas but generally when something doesn't occur in safe mode but occurs after a regular boot up some extension or other software is causing/contributing to a conflict.

EDIT:
Other than the 15.1 update, have you added anything new to the system lately?

Yep. And given that it's causing a flicker on the monitor, I would think it is a driver for the monitor, or some such "utility" from the monitor maker.
