External HD to External HD Auto-Backup Software???

Not exactly a security issue in the purest definition, but here goes:
I am looking for software to automatically back up the data (on an external hard drive) to a seperate external hard drive, similar to how Time Machine backs up my Macs. Anybody have any recommendations? I'm not looking for a cloud service, or actually any subscription service, I'd just like to purchase a quality software program. Many thanks in advance.

The three most recommended apps on this forum are Carbon Copy Cloner, SuperDuper!, and ChronoSync.

I've used both SD! and CCC. They all offer free trials. After the trial period is over, both CCC and SD!, are still usable with limited capabilities for free.
