Hi

Does anyone know what this error message means and what command(s) I might type to fix it? Thanks so much!

login(454,0x7fff74d8e300) malloc: *** error for object 0x7fed28c2b330: pointer being freed was not allocated
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug

Go to Preferences and make sure "default shell" is checked.

Terminal Issues on Mac

Yes that is checked, and I am still hung up in Terminal (can't input any commands as it's looking for a response/resolution to the error message. I don't understand why it says "process completed" as something is obviously not.

Again, this is what the screen looks like:

Last login: Mon Nov 17 07:21:16 on console
login(2464,0x7fff7eeb5300) malloc: *** error for object 0x7fd8ead26160: pointer being freed was not allocated
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug

[Process completed]

Again any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

What happens if you close that window and open another one?
