I hope this is where I post this. I'm receiving a weird error (The operation can’t be completed because an unexpected error occurred (error code -50)). This only occurred after a couple days, and since it was my iMac's TM backup, I decided to try formatting it into another format of mac, case sensitive, journaled, (originally mac, case sensitive, journaled, and encrypted). This seemed to work, and after re-sharing it on the network for my MBP to backup to, it worked for a couple days. And now it's back, big problem is that I've got another drive in the enclosure and it to won't allow me to write to it after a couple days, over the network, or at the station. Fortunately, I planned for a "disaster" and have all the data (save for the TM b/u) on a separate 2TB drive. The External drive has 2 X 2TB drives in the JBOD configuration. Is there some OSX related reason that I can't write to the drives? I've set permissions to read & write for everyone, and I have no problem pulling data off the device, it just won't let me write to it. OSX is fully up to date. External enclosure = Vantec Nexstar mx-S2 JBOD/BIG) iMac = 21.5", Late 2009, 8GB 1067 DDR3, 3.06 intel core 2 duo, Mac OSX Lion (10.7.2) Thanks in advance, Wolf
