I thought that I had missed something in Mojave when I read this ^^ But then I searched the Web for screenshots of Mail under Mojave, and it looks to me as if you have the same ability to create as many mailboxes as you like as you always have. To create a new mailboxes in Apple Mail... Go into: Mailbox menu --> New Mailbox... and give your new mailbox a name. You can now go into: Mail menu --> Preferences --> Rules and create rules for what incoming mail should be moved into that new mailbox. Still don't like Apple's Mail? There are, by my count, about 30 alternatives. Here are just a few very popular ones you can have a look at. Let me know if you would like more suggestions: GyazMail ($18) GyazMail -- An all-new email client for Mac OS X -- Some folks think that Apple ripped off this program to come up with Mail. So it's easy to adapt to. It's like Mail done right. Canary ($20) both Mac and iOS versions Canary Mail - Best Email App for Mac & iOS with PGP Encryption ***Does encrypted mail.*** Spark (free/commercial) https://sparkmailapp.com/ https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1176895641?mt=12 Review: https://www.macworld.com/article/3166306/software-productivity/spark-for-mac-review-a-great-mobile-email-client-also-quite-good-on-desktop.html AirMail ($10) http://airmailapp.com/ https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/airmail-3/id918858936 Review: http://9to5mac.com/2013/12/18/review-airmail-an-exceedingly-pretty-but-gmail-centric-alternative-to-apple-mail/ Postbox ($40 for a lifetime license) http://www.postbox-inc.com/ Review: http://www.techcrunch.com/2008/09/09/tc50-postbox-takes-on-outlook-mac-mail-with-smarter-faster-email-client/ (This seems to be the consensus most popular alternative to Mail.) MailMate ($50) (IMAP only) http://freron.com/ Review: http://www.macdrifter.com/2013/11/mailmate-explorations.html Mail Pilot (monthly fee) (IMAP only) https://mailpilothq.com/ Review: http://www.macworld.com/article/2094322/mail-pilot-for-mac-review-email-client-charts-a-course-for-maximum-productivity.html Inky (free/$5 per month) (IMAP only) http://inky.com/ Review: http://techcrunch.com/2012/12/27/inky-plans-to-reinvent-email-for-real-this-time/ ***Uses encryption for high security*** Unibox ($14) https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/unibox/id702816521 https://www.uniboxapp.com/
