I have an older model Macbook Pro running OS X 10.10. Every time I start my computer or wake it from sleep I get an alert asking if I want to allow the application "EFI" to accept incoming connections. Whether I select allow or deny, the alert continues to pop up upon reboot or wake. I have tried deleting the application from the list of apps in the firewall settings, which did not work. I have also tried deleting the "EFI" .plist file from the library, which worked for a few hours, but then things returned to 'normal.' The only solution I can find is to disable the firewall, but I do not want to disable the firewall permanently for security reasons. Any advice would be appreciated!
