Thanks all. I’ve admitted defeat and jumped into the closed garden with both feet. Now success. On my Mac I dragged all the photos in question to the Photos app. Then they populated to all my devices including iPhone and iPad. Now I can edit each photo on my iPad with my Ps and other apps and when I’m finished editing I can save the edited version back to Photos. That’s all I need for the plane trip. And they are safe in photo stream /cloud, backup wise. Mt flights include several stops in the US and Bahamas ( yes I know) before I’m back in Canada and it’s hard enough without added weight along with photography gear and possible battery issues with my Mac book so I plan to leave it home. And why don’t I just edit with the photos app? Old lady, hard to learn new apps when. I can use PS (since ver 3) more or less without thinking. I played with Photos but it was just too different, so frustrating and not fun. I did convert from WordPerfect to Word and now Pages, so I do get some points, yes? Thanks again for your help and suggestions. Diane Sent from my iPad using Mac-Forums
