hey there, does anybody know a fast way to burn avi files to a dvd format. I tried dragging it to imovie then idvd then burn. however that took 4 hours for one 25 minute clip. Maybe this is just how long it takes to make a dvd? thanks

Toast will do it. Not free though.

you should be able to drag them directly into iDVD to burn. and a 25 minute clip shouldn't take that long, though it will take a while as it's converting and then burning. maybe imovie was somehow getting in the way?

I had 6 25 minute clips burned with Toast to a single disc in about 3 hours.

Took a long time, but it came out great.

Toast is a must buy. I use Toast, DVD2One, and MacTheRipper. I am also thinking of checking out FastDVDCopy.
