You know what, I never noticed that before. I just tried it here and you are indeed correct. Searching for Apple in Google gives me the Canadian page first and DDG gives me the American page. Searching for "government offices" in Google gives me local provincial and national gov't offices; DDG gives me some website to find American gov't offices first. Well then, yet another reason not to use it.Coz it is crap ~ US sites excluvsively and not all of us live there.
Not really. A lot of tech companies are US based but if I search for them in Google, I get their Canadian websites listed (and indeed, the American ones are nowhere to be seen on, at least, the first page). That's a bad example, don't you think? OWC is a US-based company, so of course the US version is going to come up first. Now if you did a search on "OWC Australia" and the US site still came up first, that would be an issue.
(Post accusing me of being a DDG fanboy in 3, 2, ...)
LOL, we aren't getting a bit paranoid now, are we?![]()
